HEERO’S ORDEAL

It has been many years since peace has become a reality and all of the gundam pilots have moved on but one, Heero. He spends most of his time in front of his laptop hoping that a mission would appear on the screen, but it never does.

He has tried part time jobs just to kill time (he already rebuilt his gundam with out anyone finding out). None of this jobs lasted very long, you could only guess why. He can’t seam to find anything he can do right, but to fight which he has no use for anymore.

One day while Heero was sitting in front of his laptop he hears< you got mail>. Heero eyes lite up , hoping it was a mission, besides the fact that he knew it wasn’t. After open it he was surprised to see who it was from.

It was Zech , Relena was having a party and Zech wanted him to go, since it has been so long time since the two of them have seen one another. Heero thought to himself ,- is has been a long time , and Relena was the only girl who didn’t take “I’m gonna kill you” as a insult-. Heero had become involved with a few girl, but they didn’t last to long, just like his jobs,- maybe I should go , what is the worst that could happen and I don’t have any plans so it will be something to do-.

On his way to earth , Heero decided he needed to get a hair cut badly( heero doesn’t want to admit that he wants to see Relena ). While a earth and near the sank kingdom he finds a salon near his hotel(he couldn’t find a barber ).as Heero walks in this is where his ordeal begins , he walks in to see duo sitting down in the waiting area and before he could walk back out duo spots him.

Duo: hey, Heero , come sit down and lets talk, it has been awhile

Heero:- I know and I thank god for that ever day-.

Heero walks over and sits down next to duo and may I add reluctantly

Duo: Relax Heero, I’m not gonna hurt you or anything like that.

Heero just looked at him with his death glaze.

Heero:-You got that back words-.

Duo: So.....anyway what are you doing hear , I mean beside the obvious

Heero: I’m hear to go to Relena’s party tonight, I was invited and I had nothing better to do.

Duo: Same hear buddy, and I decided to get my hair cut , it’s starting to get a little long.

Heero looked at him blankly.

Heero: I didn’t know you cut your hair, I thought when it got longer you would just put in more braids.

Duo: I see that we developed a sense of humor in the last couple of years, a bad one at that, because that was the worst joke that I ever heard.

Heero: -Joke?- Anyway duo, I know I’m gonna regret asking, but what have you been up to lately?-What am I getting my self into-.

Duo: The same as always , working in the scavenging business, its good money and if you ever need a job I’ll be glad to help you out and I could always use someone I could trust.

Heero: I will keep that in mind,- work with duo, never-.

A lady walks over to duo and told him that they are ready for him.

Duo: well, I will see you tonight Heero, this is gonna take awhile and you will be done well before me.

Heero: -Thank god again-, see you tonight.

After Heero got his hair cut he looked towards the back and he could see three women trying to cut duo’s hair and the site was enough to make even Heero smile. After he left he decided to pick up some new clothes so he would at least look decent at the party, but mostly to impress Relena.

When he got back to his hotel room he got showered , shaved and got all dress up in his new suit, but he decided to wear his sneakers instead of dress shoes because he just didn’t see the point of them. They were hard, they had no tread and you could barely walk in them.

Heero began to make his way to Relana’s carefully, he remember how easy it was in get lost, he and Quatre roamed around for about three hours trying to get back to Relena’s. Heero was about to kill Quatre if he said fighting was wrong and not necessary one more time, he couldn’t stand it anymore. Heero was never so happy to so Relena’s house on that day.

When he got to her house he paused for a second , took a deep breath and walk up to the front door. He padded down his jacket and made sure that his gun was not noticeable and preceded to ring the bell. A few seconds went by, but they felt like hours to him , then the door open.

When the door was completely open he could see Relena standing their, in a beautiful blue dress and her hair all done up. Relena looked surprised to see heero standing their.

Relena: What are you doing here Heero?, I would have never have guessed you would come to my engagement party.

Heero: Engagement party , he stuttered

Heero looked at her hand and he could see a ring and then he noticed her arm was around someone’s and he looked over in shock to see who it was. he could barely say his name, but did his best too.

Heero: You, I can’t believe it ....Wufei .....but you think that all women are weak.

Wufei: I did until I got to know Relena, she’s not a normal woman, I thought you knew that Heero.

Relena: Do you think I would wait forever Heero.

The two looked at each other and kissed one another, Heero was in shock and didn’t know what to say. Just then he could see zech in the back laughing , he have never seen someone laugh that hard and loud( except Duo).

Zech:(loudly) That’s for all the time you beaten me in battle Heero.

And then he continued to laugh, but he did notice Heero reaching for something in his jacket.
